Challenge

The challenge with BYD started from scratch: sourcing materials, monitoring construction work and final approval of installations in record time for the implementation of the dealership network in Brazil.

Concept

Curvilinear forms are central to BYD's design language, embodying dynamism and fluidity that evoke movement and aspiration. The facades are considered the most prominent visual element, contributing to a monumental and striking appearance. The interior of the dealership should reflect the curved and simple lines of the exterior; instead of walls, design elements should define the spaces.

Result

Successful execution: 176 stores opened since 2022 and another 78 under construction. Totaling 254 projects designed by VC One.

The project developed for BYD in Brazil started literally from scratch — a complete challenge that involved everything from the selection and specification of materials to intensive monitoring of the works and final approval of each installation. All of this under extremely tight deadlines, requiring precision, agility and rigorous coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the dealership network in the country.

More than just meeting a technical demand, the goal was to architecturally translate BYD's identity — a brand that carries innovation, energy efficiency and a focus on the future of mobility in its DNA. This concept is clearly manifested in the visual language adopted for the spaces, where curved shapes play a central role.

These curves are not just an aesthetic resource: they communicate dynamism, fluidity and lightness — fundamental values ​​for a brand that projects movement and transformation. The facades, conceived as protagonist elements, immediately stand out. With their bold and monumental design, they have the mission of creating a striking presence on the streets and highways, conveying an image of technological sophistication and innovation at first glance.

Inside the dealerships, the proposal is to create an organic continuity with what is seen outside. Instead of spaces defined by rigid walls, the layout is guided by the design elements themselves, which delimit the areas in a fluid and intuitive way. The environment invites visitors to walk through the store naturally, enhancing the user experience and direct contact with the brand's vehicles and technologies.

The curves and simple lines present in the interior architecture are designed to reflect BYD's contemporary character, reinforcing the feeling of movement and lightness that defines the brand's visual identity. Carefully selected materials and strategic lighting solutions complement the design, ensuring not only functionality, but also an immersive, technological and welcoming atmosphere.

In the end, each dealership becomes a connection point between the brand and the Brazilian public — a space where innovation, aesthetics and purpose meet to drive a new era of mobility.
